There’s something about a dad seeing his daughter There’s something about a dad seeing his daughter in her dress for the first time that just… stops time. It was quiet. Soft. No big reaction, no dramatic music. Just a dad, looking at his little girl like she’s still five years old and he’s trying not to cry in front of her. I stood there filming it and felt this ache in my chest. Not just because it was sweet, but because I never had that. And I think that’s why it hits so hard every time. Lauren wanted her photos to feel real. Not posed. Not perfect. Just real. And in this moment, that’s exactly what it was. You could see everything in his face, how proud he was, how much he loves her, how much he hopes the man she’s marrying sees her the same way. These are the moments I’ll never get tired of.
