Erika & Anthony

A sex & The city New York photographer’s dream
New York Photographer Captures Erika and Anthony’s Love Story in the Heart of the City

Flying into New York on October 19th to capture Erika and Anthony’s love story was a dream come true. After arriving at JFK that morning, the city greeted me with perfect fall weather—sunny, mild, with just enough of a breeze. It was an ideal day to photograph them in the places that mean the most to them, in scenes straight out of Sex and the City.

Strolling with Olio & Hoboken Moments

We started near Erika and Anthony’s Hoboken apartment with their dog, Olio, who couldn’t wait to show off his favorite local spot. This wasn’t just any stroll; it was a sweet, intimate part of their everyday lives, a reminder of how much love there is in the little things. These shots felt warm and grounding, a beautiful way to begin our day together.

A Slice of Tradition & Fitness Goals

Our next stop? Benny Tudino’s! Known for its massive, classic New York pizza slices, it’s a must whenever they’re nearby. There, they shared a slice and a laugh—a scene so perfectly New York. Afterward, we made our way to Solidcore, their go-to workout spot. I loved documenting this weekly ritual; it captured a piece of Erika and Anthony’s everyday life in the city, showing how much they love to stay active together.

Ferry to Manhattan & West Village Memories

Once we finished up in Hoboken, we took the ferry to Manhattan for our final location. Wandering through the West Village, we stopped at Bedford & Barrow. This wasn’t just a picturesque spot; it’s where their story began. Erika remembered those exact steps where Anthony picked her up for their first date, making these shots even more meaningful. The vibrant streets, combined with the emotional weight of this location, brought out major Sex and the City vibes that felt so true to them.

A New York Photographer’s Dream

Though I originally planned to fly back that evening, we were creating magic with every shot. So, I changed my flight to the next morning from LaGuardia, knowing these photos needed to happen. New York’s energy and endless location possibilities make it the perfect canvas for love stories like Erika and Anthony’s, and this session only inspired me more to capture couples in this city I love.
