I know I’ve said it a million times already, but last night truly felt like a dream.

Lauren was the kind of bride every photographer hopes for, full of love, warmth, and complete trust. Together we embraced a collaborative vision and never second-guessed a thing. That kind of trust? It’s rare, and it’s everything.

I remember when I was just starting out in wedding photography. I’d feel crushed when couples would choose someone else or question my process. But now, years later, I see the shift, the couples who choose me because of who I am, the way I see their day, the way I care… those are the ones I was meant to serve. It’s such a divine reminder that when something is meant for you, God opens the door. There’s no forcing. Just alignment.

This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of photo

This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of photographing a birthday celebration that was nothing short of magical. The florals, designed to perfection by Petal Production, were truly breathtaking. It wasn’t just roses (though there were some beauties!), it was a rich medley of blooms in every color and texture imaginable. The way they layered variety, color, and form felt like walking through a living, breathing painting.

It was my first time working alongside Jeanette, and she orchestrated every detail of the evening seamlessly. From the romantic lighting to the floral-swept entrance, every corner of the Alfred DuPont was transformed into a lush, elegant dream.

A photographer’s paradise (I was in a dream), a host’s masterpiece, and for the guests, an experience they’ll never forget.

The quiet, golden moments where everything aligns; the light, the love, the vision in my head coming to life through the lens.

Annika’s veil caught the sunlight just right, and for a few seconds, the whole room felt like it was holding its breath. I saw it, I felt it, and I knew we were making something timeless.

This business… it’s so much more than photography to me. It’s the honor of standing beside women like Annika, bearing witness to the full spectrum of who they are on this day they’ve dreamed about for so long.

I don’t take one second of it for granted. Not the trust. Not the connection. Not the time we spend creating something that will live far beyond the day itself.

Being let into these sacred spaces, laughing, crying, creating… it brings me so much joy. And it never, ever gets old. 💛
